Alle har en drøm, uansett hvor liten den er. King hadde en stor drøm på vegne av folket. Han ville bli kvitt raseskillet i USA. Alle trenger ikke å ha så store drømmer. Drømmene kan være både store og små. Vanskelige og lette å nå. Noen kan være mer utfordrende enn andre, men noen er også viktigere. Noen drømmer betyr mer. Drømmene våre kan være så mye forskjellig. Så hva gjøre drømmen din viktig? Hva gjør den til akkurat din og ikke noen andres?

Det viktigste vi må huske på, er å alltid følge en drøm. Ikke bry deg om de forandres utallige ganger i løpet av livet ditt. De utvikles og fornyes. Blir de ikke forandret gjennom generasjoner også? Før drømte folk kanskje om å få oppleve en tur, nå vil vi reise jorda rundt. Så hva har skjedd? Hva slags endringer har skjedd med oss mennesker i løpet av de siste generasjonene? Har vi blitt mer bortskjemte? Eller har vi blitt for vant til å få reise og oppleve ting? Tror du ikke bedringen av livet har en betydning? Vi har jo alt vi trenger, men likevel sier vi bare mer, mer, mer.

Det jeg tror er felles for alle, er at vi tror på drømmene våre. Det er våre drømmer. Våre ønsker. De er viktige for oss, uansett hva det er. Mange blir fratatt drømmene sine, uten at de kan gjøre noe. Livene deres kan ikke endres. De mister drømmene sine og også meningen med livet. Drømmene er jo det som er viktigst for oss alle, uansett hvem vi er. Er det ikke? Mine drømmer er i hvert fall viktige for meg, selv om de er både store og små. Jeg kan drømme om å reise til et nytt land, men også om en kopp kakao med krem. Bare jeg tenker på kakao, får jeg lyst på det. Nå er drømmen om kakao med krem satt i gang. Denne drømmen betyr lite for meg, men det er en drøm. Så hva med deg? Hva drømmer du om nå? Kakao med krem, eller?

Drømmene våre kan være så mye forskjellig. Noen drømmer om utdanning, en jobb eller kanskje nok mat på bordet. Andre drømmer om å bli en sanger, kjendis eller kanskje til og med en prinsesse. Hvordan er det mulig å ha så forskjellige drømmer? Kanskje det er på grunn av de forskjellige kulturene vi vokser opp i? Er det fordi vi opplever forskjellige utfordringer? Fordi vi lærer å takle de utfordringene vi møter, og lager oss drømmer etter det?

Drømmene er viktige for oss, men mange av drømmene blir avlyst på grunn av utfordringer. Det kan skje i løpet av kort tid, eller vi kan bli født inn i en familie der drømmene våre ikke har en mulighet. Kanskje foreldrene våre ikke liker drømmene våre? Det er ikke rettferdig, men er det ikke sånn verden er? Noen har rett og slett ikke mulighet til å følge drømmene sine. I mange fattige land, får ikke barna utdanning. Hvordan kan de da følge drømmene sine? Sjansene minskes i hvert fall.
Personer som er lesbiske eller homofile møtes ofte med fordommer. Mange lesbiske og homofile er redde for å komme ut av skapet. Kanskje de har drømt om å få egne barn? Kanskje de har planer om å gifte seg i en kirke? På grunn av manges fordommer, blir ikke dette godtatt. Hvordan er det mulig? Kirker som skal være et sted for alle, blir plutselig ikke det? Det er ikke rart mange er redde for å komme ut av skapet. Er det vel? Drømmen deres blir avlyst, uten at de kan gjøre noe. Er det rettferdig?

Er det rettferdig at noen ikke har muligheten til å leve ut drømmene sine, mens andre ikke gidder å bruke sin mulighet?

He wanted to get rid of the racial divide in the United States. All do not need to have such big dreams. Dreams can be both large and small. Difficult and easy to reach. They are important for us, no matter what it is. Many people are deprived of their dreams, without that they can do something. Their lives can not be changed. They lose their dreams and also the meaning of life. Dreams are the what is most important for all of us, no matter who we are. Is not it? My dreams are in the least important to me, even though they are both large and small. I can dream of traveling to a new country, but also about a cup of cocoa with cream. I only think of cocoa, I'd love it. Now is the dream of cocoa with cream set in motion. This dream means little to me, but it's a dream come true. So what about you? What do you dream about now? Cocoa with cream, or? Our dreams can be so much different. Some dreams about education, a job, or perhaps enough food on the table. Other dreams of becoming a singer, celebrity or maybe even a Princess. How is it possible to have such different dreams? Maybe it is because of the different cultures we grow up in? It is because we experience different challenges? Because we learn to cope with the challenges we face, and makes us dream after that?Dreams are important to us, but many of the dreams is cancelled because of the challenges. It can happen in a short time, or we can be born into a family where our dreams do not have a chance. Maybe our parents do not like our dreams? It's not fair, but it's not the way the world is? Some have simply will not be able to follow their dreams. In many poor countries, do not get the kids education. How can they then follow their dreams? At least mitigated the chances. People who are lesbians or gays meet often with prejudice. Many Lesbian and gay people are afraid to come out of the closet. Maybe they have been dreaming about to get their own children? Maybe they have plans to get married in a church? Due to many people's prejudices, this will not be accepted. How is it possible? Churches that are going to be a place for all, is suddenly not there? It's no wonder many people are afraid to come out of the closet. Is it? Their dream is cancelled, without that they can do something. Is that fair? Is it fair that someone does not have the opportunity to live out their dreams, while others do not bother to use their opportunity?
